Since the first 2017 Chrysler Pacifica rolled onto our lot here at Conway Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, we've been excited about its dynamic new style and features. Dare we say it, we're actually excited about the minivan again! And this week, Chrysler is giving us more reason to do so, as it announced a historic partnership between the 2017 Pacifica Hybrid and Google's Self-Driving Car Program.
It seems that Chrysler is committed to pushing the boundaries with the 2017 Pacifica Hybrid. As the first plug-in hybrid full-size minivan, it's already a landmark vehicle. Couple that with fantastic fuel economy and combined range, at 80 MPGe and 530 miles respectively, and you've got a truly long-lasting, efficient vehicle, no matter what segment you're looking at. However, with this partnership with Google, the Pacifica Hybrid stands poised on a new frontier. Google plans to outfit 100 new Pacifica Hybrids with its autonomous driving software, nearly doubling the size of its self-driving fleet.
This partnership between Chrysler and Google could mean that we'll see self-driving cars rolling into our dealership sooner than we think, and that's a very exciting prospect. However for now, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica still needs a driver, so stop by our dealership in West Conway for a test drive today!
